Abubacar Turé, one of our selected artists, had to leave the team due to private issues which couldn’t be aligned with the rehearsals and project schedule.
He is now being replaced by another artist, Ivan Flores (PT) who will be part of the project from now on.
Being native from Spain and currently living in Portugal, Ivan is 21 years old and has a degree in Sculpture. He has an interest for dance, in particular funk and vogue, and also an interest for ceramics. Like so many deaf people, Ivan fights for dignity and constantly looks to learn and acquire new capacities, to have a purpose and a more active role in society.
Currently, he’s part of the show 3,50 x 2,70 [three fifty x two seventy] of CiM – Dance Company.
